Steven M. Press

I have thirty years of broad legal experience.  I focus my practice on guardianships, conservatorships, estate planning and probate. I have represented both petitioners and respondents in guardianship/ conservatorship proceedings giving me a unique perspective on the guardianship/ conservatorship process.


Outside of the office, I served as a Ramsey County Conciliation Court Referee for thirteen years. 


I earned my law degree from the University of Wisconsin and my undergraduate degree from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island,

I bring multiple facets of estate planning experience to our law firm having  been a bank trust officer, an insurance company advanced concept attorney and a financial planner.  I hold the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designations. 


I am a volunteer attorney with the Minnesota State Bar Association's "Wills for Heroes" Program for first responders.  I am also the Past Chair & a current member of the Bar Associations' Insurance for Members Committee. 


I earned my law degree from William  Mitchell College of Law and my undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota,
